Da Grin (born Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun) was a highly talented Nigerian rapper from Osun State who rapped predominantly in Yoruba language. He achieved massive popularity with his 2009 debut album 'Pon Pon Pon' and was widely regarded as the finest Yoruba rapper of his generation. Tragically, he died in April 2010 at age 25 from injuries sustained in a car accident, cutting short what many believed would have been an extraordinary career.
