K1 De Ultimate, born Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, is Nigeria's foremost Fuji music superstar and one of the country's most iconic musicians. Born in Lagos in 1957, he learned under Fuji pioneer Sikiru Ayinde Barrister before launching a solo career that has spanned over four decades. He has received numerous national and international honors, including a chieftaincy title, and is celebrated for elevating Fuji music to a globally recognized Nigerian art form.
