Biography
Keziah Jones, born Olufemi Sanyaolu in Lagos in 1968, is a Nigerian-born musician based in Europe known for pioneering a guitar style he calls 'blufunk', which fuses blues, funk, and Afrobeat. He gained international recognition with his 1992 debut album 'Blufunk Is a Fact!' and has built a distinguished career performing across Europe and Africa. He is celebrated as a unique voice in world music who has kept Fela Kuti's Afrobeat legacy alive while forging his own innovative path.
