Austin Iornongu Iwar Jr., known as Tay Iwar, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born in 1997 in Lagos who blends neo-soul, R&B, and Afrofusion across critically acclaimed projects including his 2016 album Renascentia and his 2019 collaboration with LA collective Soulection, Gemini. His 2020 contribution to Wizkid's "True Love" earned him his first Grammy nomination, and in 2022 he signed a worldwide publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music.
