TY Bello (born Toyin Sokefun-Bello) is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and award-winning photographer from Lagos. She gained mainstream attention with her 2005 gospel debut 'Ground Breaking' and is known for the song 'Greenland' which was inspired by a photograph she took of then-US President Barack Obama's visit to Nigeria. She represents a unique synthesis of artistic vocations — both photography and music — informed by deep Christian faith.
