Biography
Lagbaja (born Bisade Ologunde) is a uniquely masked Nigerian musician from Lagos whose identity has remained concealed behind a mask for his entire career since the early 1990s — a deliberate artistic statement about the universality of the African everyman. Known for his philosophical lyrics blending Yoruba proverbs with contemporary commentary, his songs 'Stimela,' 'Never Far Away,' and 'E Don Do' became anthems of a generation. He performed at the iconic Africa Shrine and has been recognized internationally as one of Nigeria's most profound musical artists.
