Brymo (born Olawale Ashimi) is a Nigerian singer-songwriter celebrated for his experimental fusion of Afropop, folk, and traditional Nigerian sounds. Formerly signed to Chocolate City, he made a bold artistic departure with his 2013 album 'Merchants, Dealers & Slaves' and has since built a catalogue of deeply personal and socially conscious work. He is widely regarded as one of Nigeria's most original and uncompromising musical voices.
