Jude Lemfani Abaga, known professionally as M.I. Abaga, is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter, and record producer born on October 4, 1981, in Jos, Plateau State. Widely regarded as one of the greatest African rappers of all time, he helped transform Nigerian hip-hop through albums such as Talk About It (2008), MI 2: The Movie (2010), and The Chairman (2014), and won Best Hip-Hop Act at the 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards. He served as CEO of Chocolate City from 2015 to 2019 before founding his own label, Incredible Music.
